Here is one of my favorite images of our son, Daniel Capes, when he was a wee lad. We were a baseball family, though he eventually chose soccer as his sport. The picture is vintage Daniel. We miss you, son. You leave a hole in our lives that cannot be filled. One day, we will all be together again.

Dr Capes, I am not on FB, was aware of Daniel’s illness, but just learned of the loss here. Your great love for your son is mirrored in these posts. I have 2 sons and you are reminding me/us all. You as before are in prayers. .., the NT mat’l will keep.

May you know the comfort that only our God can give as He speaks tenderly to your heart. May your strength be renewed as you hope in the Lord day by day. May His Spirit fill you with peace in the midst of your pain. May His people surround you with the love and support you need.
